Hot 2018 Concerts at The State!

Looking for a something fun to do in the next few months? Well look no further than State Theatre New Jersey’s series of concerts from July to November! This lineup features solo artists like Don Felder, formerly of the band the Eagles; groups such as TOTO; and touring productions that feature multiple bands including the Lost 80s Live tour with Flock of Seagulls and Bow Wow Wow. Check out the list below for the shows you won’t want to miss in the upcoming months.
Thu, July 26 at 8pm
Come release your inner flower child with a night of Vanilla Fudge, Rick Derringer, Mitch Ryder & The Detroit Whells, and Badfinger featuring Joey Molland. Hear popular hits like “Keep Me Hangin’ On,” “Devil with a Blue Dress On,” and “Day After Day.”
4U – A Symphonic Celebration of Prince
Thu, September 6 at 8pm
Produced by Ahmir “Questlove” Thompson of The Roots, 4U is the first and only estate-approved Prince celebration. This concert will feature Prince’s biggest hits to his lesser known gems, all played by a top-tier band and a symphony orchestra!

New Wave fans rejoice! This show features some of the most recognizable acts from the 80s including Flock of Seagulls; Wang Chung; Bow Wow Wow; Farrington and Mann, original vocalists of When In Rome UK; Naked Eyes; and Animotion.

Known for his work with the Doobie Brothers, McDonald’s music landed him on the Top 40 charts with his hits “Takin’ It To The Streets,” “It Keeps You Running,” and “What A Fool Believes.” McDonald’s newest release, Wide Open, is his first album of original material in 17 years. Expect an awesome show filled with McDonald’s old and new hits.
