Posted on 12/04/2018

Crash into a spectacular production coming to State Theatre New Jersey this January, STOMP! This inventive and unconventional Broadway show is full of pounding beats made by work boots on scaffolding, banging trash can lids, hubcaps, lighters, brooms, and lots of metal! Combining rhythm, dance, theater, and comedy to create high-energy musical magic, STOMP is a memorable performance for people of all ages. Watch a sneak peek below of STOMP performers opening and closing Zippo lighters to create a fiery beat as well as stomping in metal can shoes to produce an explosion of sound! The cast uses a plethora of unique props such as large metal trash cans strapped to their feet, called "Walkers," to create an unparalleled act. See what all the noise is about at State Theatre New Jersey on Fri, January 11, and Sat, January 12!
