Celebrate Valentine’s Day Early with Boyz II Men

Whether it's their star on Hollywood Boulevard cemented in amongst Motown’s finest, or a section of
South Broad Street in their hometown of Philadelphia bearing their name, it’s hard to deny the impact that
Boyz II Men have had on music over the past quarter century. The Philadelphia-based trio, who will be at the State Theatre on February 13th,  has carved out their own lane in R&B as a trio consisting of two tenors and a baritone that each demand the spotlight, but shine together creating smooth harmonies that continue to captivate audiences of all ages.

Boyz II Men have consistently served up timeless emotional ballads like “End of the Road,” “I’ll Make
Love to You,” and “One Sweet Day,” along with countless others that have built their legacy up as one of
R&B’s most iconic acts. This year marks the 25th anniversary of their sophomore album ‘II’ which went
on to sell 12 million copies in the U.S. alone and make history on the charts. “I’ll Make Love to You,”
went on to go number one on the charts for 14 weeks, breaking the previous record of 13 weeks held by
their own classic, “End of the Road.” Making them only the third act ever to replace themselves as
number one on Hot 100, along with Elvis and The Beatles.

Their talent is undeniable in the way they are able to constantly reinvent themselves, and their efforts
have been recognized with four Grammys, nine American Music Awards, nine Soul Train Awards, three
Billboard Awards, and a 2011 MOBO Award for Outstanding Contribution to Music. They continue to
push their creative boundaries and try their hand in various projects, as fans continue to respond to their
work. In 2017 the group put out a Doo-Wop album, Under the Streetlight. Then in 2018 the group
released If You Leave Me Now, a hit song with singer/songwriter Charlie Puth, and went on to tour with
Bruno Mars on his 24K Magic Tour. It’s exciting to see what Boyz II Men has in store for the coming

The legendary R&B trio will grace the State Theatre stage, just an hour north of where it all began on
February 13th at 8pm. What better way is there to kick off the Valentine’s day festivities early than a night of love and harmony
with classics by none other than Boyz II Men.

For those curious as to what tricks the trio have up their sleeves, here’s a setlist from one of their recent
