Outdoor Movie Night © Mom Advice
Just because the sun goes down doesn’t mean the fun has to stop. One of the best ways to enjoy a cool summer night with your family is to have an outdoor movie night. With movie theaters closed, many people miss the fun of seeing a new movie but you can make the experience great from the comfort of your own home. Not sure where to start? Mom Advice has partnered with Walmart to create an easy DIY budget-friendly outdoor movie night. Whether you decide to pull out a couple of lawn chairs or set up some tents, the hardest thing about this is having the family agree on which movie to watch. Everyone is a sucker for a classic sing-a-long! We recommend some of the best throwbacks—The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, and Mulan. If the family is leaning more towards action, grab the gang and suit up for a Disney+ Marvel movie marathon.
Watching a movie is never complete without snacks. For your next movie night, try some healthy alternatives to the traditional popcorn and pretzels with these five healthy recipes from the Food Network that kids can make, sure to satisfy everyone’s taste buds. These recipes are children-friendly so make sure they grab their aprons and join in on the fun. Take a crack at cinnamon raisin soft pretzels, taco popcorn, strawberry chocolate chip muffins, gluten-free cheesy crackers, and peanut butter balls. Everything tastes better when it’s homemade!
