Thank you for your patience and support and for helping ensure we can all gather safely to enjoy the transformative POWER OF LIVE PERFORMANCES.

Based on advice from the CDC and the state of New Jersey as well as best practices adopted by the performing arts industry, State Theatre has implemented the following guidelines to help prevent the spread of COVID-19 and protect the health of our guests, staff, artists, and crew. Failure to follow these guidelines will result in denial of entry or expulsion from the theater without a refund.

If you are feeling ill the day of an event or have been exposed to someone who has COVID-19, we kindly ask that you do not attend the performance. Call Guest Services to discuss your options at 732-246-7469.

  • PATRONS TWO YEARS OR OLDER are strongly recommended to wear masks at all times inside the venue.

  • PATRONS UNDER 12 are not required to show proof of vaccine or present test results, however temperatures will be checked and must be 100.3 or below to be allowed entry into the venue.

  • PATRONS 12 AND OLDER must show one of the following options to be allowed entry into the theater:

All patrons 12 years or above must also present a photo ID (valid driver’s license, passport, or school ID) to match the name with the vaccination card or COVID-19 test. You may present proof of vaccination or a negative test on paper or a smartphone.

If you are unable to show proof of full vaccination or a negative test result when at the venue for entry to the event, you will be denied admission and we cannot issue you a refund, exchange, or credit for your unused ticket(s).

Guidelines are subject to change at any time, and some artists and shows may require more stringent measures. Please refer to your preshow email for the latest policies applicable to your show.

These policies will be re-evaluated in in June, 2022.

State Theatre presented performances are exchangeable for another performance or for credit on your State Theatre account that can be used towards a future performance. Account Credits expire June 30, 2022 but can be applied towards a performance after that expiration date. Credits can only be made to the original purchaser and are issued for the value of the tickets only. Please note: exchanges or credits are not allowed for an event once a patron has arrived at the theater for the event.
