Your Visit

TICKET EXCHANGE, DONATION, AND REFUND INFORMATION

State Theatre New Jersey is committed to providing the utmost flexibility to you in light of recent show postponements and cancellations due to COVID-19 mitigation efforts.

  • For shows that have been POSTPONED and a new date has not yet been announced: please wait for State Theatre to contact you with the new date before deciding on what to do with your tickets. Your current tickets will be valid for the new performance date. If you can’t make the new date, please fill out the form below or contact our Guest Services Office.
  • For shows that have been RESCHEDULED to a new date: Your current tickets will be valid for the new performance date. If you can’t make the new date, please fill out the form below or contact our Guest Services Office.
  • For shows that have been CANCELLED: Please fill out the form below or contact our Guest Services Office.

Another option to consider: As a non-profit institution, State Theatre New Jersey relies on both ticket sales and contributed revenue. If you are unable to make a new show date for rescheduled shows, or if a show was cancelled, we kindly ask you to consider donating the value of your tickets to support our continued operations. While cancelling or rescheduling performances is necessary for the health of all our patrons, staff, and artists, it will be at a great loss for the institution, making your donations even more important. When you choose to donate your tickets, you help sustain our revenue during this difficult and unprecedented time, allowing us to continue inspiring and impacting people through the performing arts. The total ticket value of your donation will count toward member benefits and you can receive a tax deduction.

Ticketholders for performances that have been rescheduled or cancelled have the following options:

  • For rescheduled performances: Keep your current tickets, they will be valid for the new date
  • Exchange your tickets for a credit on your State Theatre account that can be applied to another show
  • Donate your tickets, the total ticket value will count toward member benefits and you can receive a tax deduction (ticket donations do not normally count towards membership but considering the circumstances we’ve decided to change our standard procedures for events affected by COVID-19).
  • Exchange your tickets for a State Theatre New Jersey gift certificate, or
  • Receive a full refund for the value of the ticket and associated fees

We strongly encourage you to consider donating your ticket back to State Theatre and we will apply the total ticket value of your donation toward member benefits.
