OUR Milk & Cookies series is online!

Join us for a delightful musical and storytelling experience drawing from the African and African American folklore tradition with Milk & Cookies fan favorite, TAHIRA!

Back by popular demand, storyteller TAHIRA returns with her entertaining songs and stories, bringing 3-D energy in this lively virtual performance that will enthrall and delight the entire family! TAHIRA's high-energy, engaging stories and songs are not only fun, but also promote social emotional learning. Milk & Cookies kids will listen at the edge-of-their-seats, as they make predictions of what choices the characters in the stories will make and join in on her songs that inspire and empower them to be their best selves.

Milk & Cookies is an online, lively music and storytelling series for families. This program is perfect for children ages 3-10.

Just because we can’t meet in person to provide milk and cookies for this virtual series doesn’t mean you can’t have a treat! Here are fun snack ideas to make at home and share with the whole family. These recipes are inspired by Mama TAHIRA Strange Animal, The Ants and the Grasshoppers & The Starfish. You can make your very own animal crackers cookies, mango banana nice cream, and starfish shaped cookies!

And remember to make your treats like rain, “at the right time, must be the right temperature, and always sprinkle with love.” (TAHIRA)
