Classical Season Celebration
Thank you to everyone who joined us to experience the incomparable artistry of cellist Angelique Montes illuminated by the soft glow of over 1,200 candles. The unique setting allowed for a deeply personal and immersive performance, and Montes' passion and technical brilliance left us with a profound appreciation for the power of live classical music.
The evening opened with a lively cocktail hour, featuring the talented students from the Edison High School Orchestra, before transitioning into an immersive musical experience, concluding with a dessert reception with the artist.
Proceeds from the event directly support State Theatre New Jersey’s classical programming and our Symphony Scholars program, which provides high school students with free access to live orchestral performances, workshops with professional musicians, and college-readiness resources—all helping to cultivate the next generation of music lovers and leaders.
