Classical Season Celebration
Join us on Thursday, October 23, 2025, for an unforgettable evening celebrating the power of classical music.
This year’s Classical Season Celebration features an intimate, candlelit performance by acclaimed cellist Angelique Montes, whose program explores themes of identity, transformation, and healing through a powerful blend of contemporary and classical works. With selections by composers of color and women composers—such as Sophia Bass, Tania León, and Nathalie Joachim—Montes' performance is a journey of emotional depth and human connection, brought to life in the warmth of our Studio space.
Mark your calendar for this luminous experience celebrating artistry and education, and supporting classical programming in our community. Tickets go on sale Thursday, July 24.
The evening begins with a lively cocktail hour before transitioning into an immersive musical experience, concluding with a dessert reception with the artist.
Proceeds from the event directly support State Theatre New Jersey’s classical programming and our Symphony Scholars program, which provides high school students with free access to live orchestral performances, workshops with professional musicians, and college-readiness resources—all helping to cultivate the next generation of music lovers and leaders.
Cocktail attire preferred.

Angelique Montes, cello
