Free Outdoor Festival
Sat, August 8, 2026 from 2pm-6pm
This annual FREE outdoor family-friendly festival celebrates the arts, culture, and history of New Brunswick and Middlesex County.
The festival features live music and dance performances by Warehouse Collective; Dance Warz; New Brunswick Brass Band; Grupo de Danza Folklórica La Sagrada Familia; State Theatre New Jersey's 2026 Jersey Talent winner, tap dancer John Boudouvas; New Brunswick High School Cheerleaders; and more to be announced!
The festival also features free dance classes for kids with Princeton Ballet School; craft and visual art vendors; free face painting, Henna, and balloon animals; a health & wellness area by Garden of Healing; free craft activities; food vendors, ticket giveaways; and so much more!
New Brunswick Heart Festival is presented by State Theatre New Jersey and New Brunswick Cultural Center.

After the Festival
See legendary Blues guitarist Buddy Guy live in concert on the State Theatre stage at 8pm.
