Thank you for supporting State Theatre New Jersey's Annual Benefit Gala!
Saturday, June 8, 2024 at State Theatre New Jersey
Featuring a performance by Jay Leno
State Theatre New Jersey celebrates the power of live performance at this year's Annual Benefit Gala, co-chaired by Wendy Wiebalk and Steven Cahn, to be held on Saturday, June 8, 2024.
We are thrilled to announce that this year's Gala returns to State Theatre as we step back in time to the fabulous 1950s, where the spirit of the era will come alive in a rockin' celebration! Inspired by mainstage entertainer Jay Leno's passion for classic cars, guests will be transported for an evening of retro charm and excitement from poodle skirts to leather jackets, sock hops to gourmet diner delights. Get ready to twist and shout as we pay homage to the iconic sights and sounds of the '50s in an unforgettable night filled with music, dining, dancing, and timeless elegance.
Attire: 1950s Fabulous!
Embrace the diverse styles of the 1950s. Women have options ranging from full skirts to playful rockabilly attire, sophisticated sheath dresses, or outfits inspired by the Pink Ladies! Men have options ranging from sharp suits to greaser-style outfits, preppy looks, or vintage-inspired attire. Vintage touches and attention to hair and makeup are highly encouraged! Think The Dick Van Dyke Show, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, Grease, Bye Bye Birdie, and other throw-back classics!
Ticket Sales for the Gala Have Closed. Tickets to see Jay Leno and for our Late-Night After Party are available through 7:30pm on June 8 here.
You can still support our Annual Benefit Gala by donating today!
Gala proceeds are essential for State Theatre to continue to make world-class arts programming affordable and accessible to individuals from all ages and backgrounds in our diverse New Brunswick community and beyond, helping provide arts education and community engagement programs for children, families, and underserved residents each year.
