State Theatre New Jersey is a proud presenter of the New Brunswick Heart Festival!
Join us for the annual New Brunswick Heart Festival, hosted by New Jersey Hall of Famer Bert Baron and Founder of TSO Productions, Sharon Gordon! This FREE family-friendly festival will take place in downtown New Brunswick in-person at Monument Square at 2 Livingston Ave and will be live streamed on YouTube. The festival, which celebrates all of the vibrant arts and history that New Brunswick and the County of Middlesex has to offer, will feature live performances; hard hat theater tours* of State Theatre New Jersey in English and Spanish (see the latest renovations!); Japanese black ink drawing with the Highland Park Arts Commission; yoga with Sisterwork; fun giveaways from George Street Playhouse and American Repertory Ballet; and activity tent with Garden of Healing; and more!
This year's lineup includes the New Brunswick Brass Band; New Brunswick Latin band, Sonido Latino; trumpeter and pianist, James Gibbs; a large salsa dance class party with Elvis Ruiz; tap dancer Omar Edwards; a roaming Hearts of Oak Youth Fife and Drums band; an English-Spanish musical performance for the kids by The Bilingual Birdies Trio; New Brunswick Vinyl Society and Silent Knight; and so much more!
