Salute to Vienna has been CANCELLED.

While we had been looking forward to seeing you on the original date, we’ve also been closely following the developing news on COVID-19 and the current response recommendations from our Federal, State, and Local officials. The health and well-being of our guests, artists, and staff are our top priority. If you have tickets to this show, a credit for the value of the ticket and fees will be placed on the original purchaser’s account for future use. If you are not the original purchaser, you must contact the original purchaser directly. The original purchaser can change their options by using this request form within 30 days of notification of the cancellation.

Timeless music, dazzling costumes, breathtaking dance, and stunning floral designs! Salute to Vienna New Year’s Eve Concert returns to the State Theatre for an unforgettable celebration that will enchant and delight audiences of all ages. Freshly updated each year with a new cast and musical program, the exuberant music of Johann Strauss and his counterparts will spring to life in a joyful spectacle featuring European singers, dancers, and a full symphony orchestra. The Maestro, an expert in Viennese music, will lead the orchestra and the audience on a journey through the Golden Age of Vienna with wit and charm. Energetic, lighthearted, and full of romance, Salute to Vienna New Year’s Eve Concert is a celebration of music, beauty, and every exciting opportunity the New Year has to offer.


State Theatre is amending its ticketing policies with the following: If an event is postponed, rescheduled, or cancelled due to COVID-19 containment efforts the original purchaser will HAVE SEVERAL OPTIONS:

  • For rescheduled performances: Your current tickets will be valid for the new date. If you are unable to make the new date you can change your options within 30 days of notification of the date change.
  • For cancelled performances: a credit for the total value of your tickets and fees will be applied to your State Theatre account for your use on future shows. You can change your options within 30 days of notification of the cancellation.
  • Ticket holders can also choose from these other options within 30 days of notification of the performance change:
    • Donate your tickets, the total ticket value will count toward member benefits  and you can receive a tax deduction (ticket donations do not normally count towards membership but considering the circumstances we’ve decided to change our standard procedures for events affected by COVID-19)
    • Exchange your tickets for a State Theatre New Jersey gift certificate
    • Receive a full refund for the value of the ticket and associated fees.

PLEASE NOTE: State Theatre New Jersey does not have an elevator.
