Get ready for an acoustic jam-tastic high energy good time for the whole family, with “Kindie” music veteran Mike Messer! This Milk & Cookies event overflows with the love of music, mixing original songs, and re-imagined, re-ignited, beloved classics of all genres to leaving everyone on their feet and jumping in the air! Every child is made to included, bringing one musical invitation after another to join and jam along and to help transform the music into a full-on dance party.
Mike Messer is a familiar face in kid’s rock music all over the world. He is the lead singer and guitarist of the popular group the Dirty Sock Funtime Band (“The most exciting and innovative music for kids ever!" —MTV) featured in several episodes of Nick Jr’s Jack’s Big Music Show. In addition to being the voice of the theme song to “Super Wings,” his singing has been heard on TV in episodes of Wonder Pets, Sing It Laurie, and Sesame Street.
Milk & Cookies is a lively, interactive storytelling and music series for families. This program, which takes place in our Studio, is the perfect way to introduce children ages 3-8 to live theater. Includes a cookie and a carton of milk for every child after the show.
The 12pm show is a Sensory-Friendly Performance, specially designed to provide a safe, welcoming environment for kids on the autism spectrum or with sensory sensitivities.
